There are many people buried in graveyards who have not taken any steps towards realizing their dreams. They allowed their dreams to die with them. My late father used to speak about what he wanted to achieve. He always wanted to start a business. He was a community leader and well respected by everyone, young and old. However, he refused to become a mayor, even though he was a perfect candidate for the position and would have got all the support he needed. Just like many, he went to his grave with his dreams unfulfilled.
Elbert Hubbard once said, “There is no failure except in no longer trying”. It is a great pity that most of today`s generation tend to give up just before the miracle is about to take place, and when things are on the brink of turning around for them. They think their lack of education and skills is their greatest weakness and that financial problems are the reason for their inability to bring their ideas to fruition.
Learn to let go of old and prevailing habits, develop a new approach if need be, and do things differently. Be patient. It will only make the journey easy! Push towards your goals at the right time. Each one of us has the inner strength to fulfill our dreams. When you finally attain your goal, the agony of the journey would be a long forgotten nightmare.
